The CTE Department is excited to offer a Career Technical Education (CTE) SUMMER EXTERNSHIP PROGRAM this summer (July/August). We will be conducting an overview of the requirements of the program on Wednesday, May 10 at EOC (room 500), from 3:45 to 4:45 (NOTE: the start time is different than normal). This program is a 4-day (32 hour) project-based, summer externship resulting in the development and implementation of (2) lesson plans incorporating learned industry standards. Upon receipt of REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (reviewed at this session), the applicant will receive a timecard to be paid for 32 hours of curriculum development work.There are only 20 externships available, and applicants will be chosen by a sub-committee of the CTE Advisory Committee.
